Allright, I've added the extra inttypes.h branch. all is working well with your timer demo so I've committed it. As for the windows timers, some notes have been made, and it'll be revisited (should someone here be familiar with high precisions scheduling and timestamp getting on windows, please do speak up, any tips are very welcome.
