I tried it for a project I had in mind, maybe a year ago, mostly for its OODB and supposed ease of developing web sites. It's not bad, but the language is too different from standard Scheme, and that makes me feel that it's a dead end. It's a little different in paradigm too, not just syntax or implementation. What I really want is a Scheme interface to an OODB of some sort, that works in a similar way. The distributed computing aspect is interesting too but maybe Kali will end up going further in that direction, if it is not also a stalled project (kinda looks that way). ===== . _______ Shawn T.
