Dear Walgri, Thanks for your thoughts and for your suggestions. For elastic soil, would it be sufficiently accurate to model the soil with elastic frame elements? The addition of new element types is clearly a good direction for Frame3DD, and given the time I may undertake this. For the time being, I am not aware of new development in this direction.
