Version 2 of Fractal Assistant is soon to be under development!

Features will include: formula definition files for dynamic interpretation, formula compilation tools, an online formula repository, a fully-featured plugin architecture, and much much more!

If you want something added, now's the time to let us know - we'll take anything into consideration!

A new release of Fractal Assistant is here! There's nothing new, but it contains the image files needed, and a .jar file. It's aimed at users with only the JRE installed, but anyone with Java1.2 or above should be able to use it.

If you have a version with corrupt icon images, the images/ directory should contain uncorrupted versions - I think it was the compression that was doing it.

I am looking for suggestions for new features to include in future versions of Fractal Assistant.

I have created a new forum just for this task - it is called "Suggestions". Anything that you would like to see, however small (or large) will be taken into consideration when a new version is released.

I've uploaded version 0.3a now. No functionality changes, but the gifs should now work, and there is a makefile included for compilation.

I've just uploaded the current version (version 0.3), and after a glitch or two involving image file names, it seems to work.

I've had this program sitting on my hard drive for a while now and have decided to launch it into the free world. I'll try and get it uploaded at some point soon.
