Just for anyone who is a windows only person and wants to do something in fpdb. I installed ubuntu on virtual box and got a .deb built and everything to run from a git clone pretty simply. I'll circle back to getting things to build and work on windows, but it seems most of the Python community is preferring Qt on Windows. I don't know how dead/dormant this project is, but I wonder if it'd be worth porting the GUI to make it easier to develop on windows. As it is now I think I can push forward with what I have and just use a mapped folder in virtual box to access the hand stats. I might be missing some stuff but we'll see. At least I can do some analysis I've been wanting to do. |
