Prezados, boa noite! I met you and the program installed on my computer. I am very happy with the result but I need to configure information for the tutorials that are found to version 0.20.906 not encotrei for download. I have version 0.40.5 and need to know how to configure the favorite seat because the stats are spread all over the table. I thank the support Alex de Jesus |

Hi, I've been using fpdb for quite a long time, I did a few commits 2 or 3 years ago, but didn't have enough time to continue. I'm playing mostly on winamax.fr, and mostly mtt tourneys and sit&go. I would like to improve things in these fields. I did some minor commits to : - fix import on winamax (sat winnings were not always taken into account) - fixed the "Number of player" filter in tourney stats/graphs that wasn't working at all. You can pull my minor changes here : https://github.com/UgoM/fpdb-ugom/tree/to_fpdb Currently, I'm re-working the whole Filter interface, so users can choose which filters they want to display. I also plan to save these active filters in conf. And to create new filters, like viewing tourney by their name. If there are other filters that are asked by the community, I would be glad to implement them, but I didn't have the courage to read the whole twoplustwo thread. Ugo M |

I can't get any HUD to display for seals with clubs pc client v0.2.15 or 0.2.17. Auto import is working and I can view player stats, but no HUD. Is this a known bug? Thanks |

Hi, Maybe already exist, but I was thinking that the users of fpdb could create a database of tournament results. I don't know how many people are in this list, but maybe we are enought to have a decent 'n'. The idea is to incorporate these results to fpdb in the same way does Tournament Shark' or other similar software. I not use it, but know people that do, and they says the information is very very useful. I'm asuming that is not posible to access to this kind of information freely. Sorry for the english Alejo |

Thanks, you got me on the right track. I didn't edit any files as you suggested but I did 'eselect python set 1' to activate python 2.7 on my system. After that i got this error when running fpdb: ImportError: No module named Tkinter 'emerge python' with the 'tk' USE flag set solved this problem. Now a GUI window showed up with this error message: File not found: wnck The solution was 'emerge libwnck-python'. In the end I edited the ebuild, so that portage would take care of those dependency problems: 1. add these 2 lines before 'inherit eutils games': PYTHON_DEPEND="2:2.6" PYTHON_USE_WITH="tk" 2. add this line to the RDEPEND section: dev-python/libwnck-python Im not an expert, this is the first time i edited an ebuild but so far it works :) On Mon, 5 Aug 2013 17:34:58 +0100 gimick <bb...@gm...> wrote: > hello, almost certainly the default python version on your distribution is > python3. fpdb needs python2.6 or 2.7. > > Probably easiest if you install python 2.7 and then edit the fpdb py files > to change the location of python. > > If you look in run_fpdb.py, just now, fpdb uses this: > #!/usr/bin/env python > > (which is "correct" for debian linux) > > My guess is you will need to edit this to say > #!/usr/bin/env python2 > > From memory, the following files will need to be changed on your local > system: > run_fprdb.py > pyfpdb/fpdb.pyw > pyfpdb/HUD_main.pyw > pyfpdb/DetectInstalledSites.py > > > Let me know if you still are having problems. > Steve~ > > > > > On Mon, Aug 5, 2013 at 10:43 AM, Michael Körner <koe...@ho... > > wrote: > > > Hello, > > > > I have installed fpdb on my gentoo system with the live ebuild found in > > the tarball. hello, almost certainly the default python version on your distribution is python3. fpdb needs python2.6 or 2.7. Probably easiest if you install python 2.7 and then edit the fpdb py files to change the location of python. If you look in run_fpdb.py, just now, fpdb uses this: #!/usr/bin/env python (which is "correct" for debian linux) My guess is you will need to edit this to say #!/usr/bin/env python2 >From memory, the following files will need to be changed on your local system: run_fprdb.py pyfpdb/fpdb.pyw pyfpdb/HUD_main.pyw pyfpdb/DetectInstalledSites.py Let me know if you still are having problems. On Linux everything ends up in ~/.fpdb . Deleting that directory should reset your install, but its worth looking in the logs directory for the cause of your issue. FYI - it has been a while since the .debs were built, if I get a chance I'll try and put one together over the next couple of days. Hello everyone, The new FPDB release 0.40 is now available for download as source or as packages/installers for Windows. http://sourceforge.net/projects/fpdb/files/fpdb/0.40/ *Attention! *Existing users using a version prior to 0.39.999 will need to recreate their database tables (Maintenence -> Create or Recreate Tables) and reset their configuration files (* https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/fpdb/index.php?title=Reset_Configuration *) for fpdb 0.40 to work correctly As usual this version brings many improvements and bugfixes please take your time and review below. *What is FPDB?* *===================* FPDB (Free Poker Database) is a free/open source suite of steadily growing tools to track and analyse your online poker game. It is written to help you collect statistics on yourself and opponents and provide useful ways to review those stats both live (ie while playing) or in post analysis. FPDB is able to import the hand histories that poker sites write to your computer and to store additional data from each hand in a database for use in later analysis. We are ambitious. We intending to support all games on all sites - well. - Graphs: Profit, Showdown/non-Showdown, EV graphs + Export to file - Session Viewer: Candlestick representation of your cash game sessions. - Hand Viewer: List hands from a session and analyse/filter the hands to look more closely at your recent results. - Filters: Most of the review pages support multiple filters such as player, game type, limits, date range and other filters specific to the current view. - Hand Replayer: A way to play hand and watch the action unfold with stack sizes etc. - HUD: Colourised Heads Up Display to show up to the second stats and trends on all your opponents. *What’s changed since 0.30.2?* *====================* 800+ changesets have gone in since 0.30.2. Code and translations come from 11 unique contributors (ChazDazzle, gimick, sorrow, Bostik, OMGOMG, Atin M, swolchok, Eratosthenes, piranoust, drflounder, Arsil). *New HUD* - FPDB version 0.40 sports a new and improved HUD. Pop-up stats can now be divided into sub-menus, graphics and mucked cards have been improved, moving and resizing the poker window now works more fluidly and site/game configuration has been simplified. More detailed information about HUD setup and configuration can be found on the wiki here - * https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/fpdb/index.php?title=FPDB_version_0.40_information * *New Sites* - Support for three new sites - *Bovada*, *Enet*, and *Seals with Clubs* (thanks piranoust) has been added. Bovada cash and tournaments will import and rank and cashes will be updated at the end of each tournament. Enet and Seals with Clubs hand histories lack tournament numbers so cash games are all that’s supported for those sites at the moment. FPDB will now also import all types of exported *PokerTracker 3/4*hand histories and tournament summaries. Usually the original format of these files is maintained, but for sites which write their hand histories in xml, which includes Merge, iPoker, Everest, and Microgaming, PokerTracker has it’s own custom export format which was previously not supported *New Games* - We’ve added support for 9 new poker variants including *5-Card Stud* (iPoker, Full Tilt Poker),*Irish Poker* (Full Tilt Poker), *5-Card Omaha* (Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars, Entraction), *5-Card Omaha Hi/Lo* (PokerStars), *6-Card Omaha* (Full Tilt Poker), *Courchevel* (PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker), *Courchevel Hi/Lo*(PokerStars), *Double Hold’em* (PartyPoker), *A-5 Triple Draw* (Merge, Full Tilt Poker) *Site Specific Bug Fixes* - 200+ bug fixes, and site support updates have been made since 0.30.2 substantially improving FPDB’s site support across all games and situations - *888Poker* (6 Changes): Fixed a number of accounting issues with uncalled bets and all-in blinds. Added some non-english hand history support. Improved tournament summary import - *Absolute* (5 Changes): Added Stud support and improved fixed limit game support - *BetOnline/Chico* (8 Changes): Added support for APN/Chico poker skins such as Gear Poker, ActionPoker and PayNoRake. Added Omaha. Fixed issues with unknown players acting, an numerous accounting difficulties arising from miscalculated sidepots - *Boss* (11 Changes): Added Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo support. Fixed tournament support, added example files and fixes for all-ins, antes, and second small blinds - *Cake/Revolution* (18 Changes): Fixed numerous parsing and pot accounting issues associated with new games and formatting changes - *Entraction* (3 Changes): Added tournament and 5-Card Omaha support - *Everest* (6 Changes): Improved partial hand handling, improved fixed-limit support - *Everleaf* (4 Changes): Fixed collect pot method for Hi/Lo games, now recognizes max seats and euro games - *Full Tilt Poker* (20 Changes): Update for hand history format change made on May 8, 2013. Many fixes to better capture and update tournament information. Now supports 6 new game types listed above - *iPoker* (16 Changes): Vastly improved game and format support across a variety of iPoker skins and game types - *Merge* (18 Changes): Added mixed game support, tournament buy-in lookups, and made numerous bug fixes and additions - *Microgaming* (4 Changes): Will now import hands written in the new Microgaming format. Added omaha support - OnGame (13 Changes): Added support for Omaha, Razz and OnGame’s fast poker variant - Strobe - *PartyPoker* (26 Changes): Hand histories written by the OSX PartyPoker client are now supported, fixed PLO8, Stud support, major bug fixes for recognizing moved players during MTTs - *PKR *(9 Changes): Supports both current PKR hand history format and the older pre-2009 format. Split pots are now read, as are multiple small blinds, side pots, euro denominated games and Omaha - *PokerStars* (19 Changes): Added support for Run-it-twice hands, Pot Limit Pre, No Limit Post games and improved partial hand identification. Added SnG lookup table for pulling in structure information - *Winamax* (21 Changes): Major fix for site hand numbers, updates to tournament summary parsing, fixed limit, play money and ticket tournament support *Smarter Import* - The fpdb importer has been overhauled for both hand histories and tournament summaries for this release. - Bulk import will automatically recognize what site each file is coming from so you won’t need to identify each file or folder yourself - Tournament summary files will now import during auto import and via bulk import and do not require separate handling - Two separate directories can be identified for PokerStars auto import which allowing for auto import of both hand histories and tournaments summaries - Auto import now works better for sites that write hand histories line by line while the hand is being played - Auto import will search and import files from subdirectories *New & Updated Stats* - Several new stats have been added and updates have been made to commonly used stats to more accurately account for all situations - New Stat: Checkraise stats - cr(1,2,3) - New Stat: Call 3-Bet stat - ctb (from Arsil) - New Stat: DonkBetAndRaise - dbr(1,2,3) (from Arsil) - New Stat: Fold to DonkBetAndRaise f_dbr(1,2,3) (from Arsil) - VPIP, PFR, and 3Bet/4Bet stats pre-flop now recognize walks and situations where the player doesn’t have the opportunity to raise or put money into the pot - CAR0 (Called a raise preflop) is fixed - calcCalledRaiseStreet0 will now work for draw and stud - Fixed fold to CB for draw games *Database additions:* - New rake fields (rakeDealt, rakeContributed, rakeWeighted) - Additional miscellaneous fields (showdownWinnings, nonShowdownWinnings, BBwon, vsHero, effStack - Added a number of new tournament & game variables to better capture gametypes - Several new cache tables have been added for sessions, hand types, and positions. Setting cacheSessions="True" in Configure/Preferences will turn on import for these tables. While these tables aren't yet in use, we'll be updating our query plan in future releases to take advantage of these tables which should results in significant performance improvements for large databases *Known Issues:* - Minimizing and restoring the poker table window while the HUD menu is open may cause the HUD block positions to be displayed incorrectly. To prevent corruption of the HUD blocks, select "Restart This HUD" to reset the HUD blocks (Windows Only) - FPDB will focus the window whenever mucked cards are displayed. To prevent this focus grab, you'll need to switch off the mucked-card display. Instructions for turning off the mucked cards display can be found here - * https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/fpdb/index.php?title=FPDB_version_0.40_information * *How to download/update* *======================* Please note that you will have to recreate database and replace your config file if you are upgrading from an earlier version. You can find out where your config file is located by going to: Help -> About, License, Copying FPDB will warn you if your database is incompatible and will not work properly unless you recreate or use a new one (Maintenence -> Create or Recreate Tables) To download: https://sourceforge.net/projects/fpdb/files/fpdb/0.40/ <https://sourceforge.net/projects/fpdb/files/fpdb/0.40/> If you encounter an error that reads like this when you're running fpdb for the first time glib.GError: Unable to load image-loading module: C:/Python27/Lib/site-packages/gtk-2.0/runtime/lib/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/libpixbufloader-svg.dll: `C:/Python27/Lib/site-packages/gtk-2.0/runtime/lib/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/libpixbufloader-svg.dll': The specified module could not be found OR an error like this when you start the HUD importer : ERROR Failed to send hand to HUD: [Errno 22] Invalid argument Run install_fpdb.exe and it should go away *Links* *=====* To be notified by email of new versions you can subscribe to our announce mailing list here: * http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fpdb-announce* Link to fpdb website (wiki): *http://fpdb.wiki.sourceforge.net/* Features page: * http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/fpdb/index.php?title=Features* How to install&setup fpdb in 5 Minutes with the Windows installer: http://sf.net/projects/fpdb/files/fpdb/help/ Choose exe021install.avi (18mb, no sound) Installation instructions are available from: * http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/fpdb/index.php?title=Installation* Getting Started Instructions: * http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/fpdb/index.php?title=Getting_Started* FAQ: *http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/fpdb/index.php?title=FAQ* Screenshots: * http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/fpdb/index.php?title=Screenshots* *Languages* *=========* Fpdb 0.40 is fully translated into English and Italian. Hello! New HUD is awesome! I realy like it. But I have trouble in Windows version. Version: 0.39.997 for Windows downloaded from sf.com. Site: Party. Bulk Import works fine. HUD doesn't. fpdb-log: lines look like ... Importer.addImportFile: siteId Failed for: 'C:\Program Files\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\HandHistory\[MyPartyLogin]\20130710' ... Then if I change hands directory from 'C:\Program Files\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\HandHistory\[MyPartyLogin]' to 'C:\Program Files\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\HandHistory\[MyPartyLogin]\20130710\' HUD starts and works. Please help! |

Hi Stephen, As Chaz said, my repo isn't maintained as frequently as theirs at the moment. If you would like to work on Stove then you aren't likely to conflict with anyone for the moment. I've applied the patch - just be careful of unnecessary whitespace. Stephen, Thanks for reaching out to us and appreciate your patch. Stove is definitely something that could use some attention. I'll take a look at your patch and we should be able to pull it into the next release. The fpdb wiki has a pretty good walkthrough for how to get set up with git - http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/fpdb/index.php?title=Git_intro. The master repo at this time is gimick's. You can add his repository by running the command: git remote add gimick git://git.assembla.com/fpdb-gimick.git. My repo is located at git://github.com/ChazDazzle/fpdb-chaz.git There are definitely some good things you can work on. gimick (bb...@gm...) and I (ch...@po...) usually communicate via gchat, so go ahead and add us and we can help you get started. Hello, Decoding the mask would depend on what you really intend to do ... but basically you will need to perfom bitwise AND with the value you're searching and bitwise OR with the values you want to update. Some information can be found here : http://wiki.python.org/moin/BitwiseOperators The whole idea is to use number in binary format, using each bit to encode something. Below, you'll find representation of 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16 in binary format 1 : 00000001 2 : 00000010 4 : 00000100 8 : 00001000 16 : 00010000 The interesting part is that if you do bitwise OR between 2 and 4, you keep all the information : 2 | 4 = 00000110 Looking at that number in binary format (which is just 2+4 by the way), you can without a doubt know that it's been "constructed" with the 2 and the 4. FYI, that's the method used behind unix rights (0=no right, 1=read, 2=write, 4=access if i remember right, so that chmod 771 means give all rights to me and my group and only read access to other). Decoding it can be done with bitwise AND operator and comparison to the mask : What bitwise AND does : foreach bit of our byte, if both bits are 1, resulting bit is 1, else resulting bit is 0. Example : variable = 00000110 if (2&variable)==2 : 2 is "part of the variable" (true here) if (4&variable)==4 : 4 is "part of the variable" (true here) if (8&variable)==8 : 8 is "part of the variable" (false here) This mecanism was very much used when coding in C/C++ because it helped encoding important part of information in only 1 number and lets you perform comparison with number not strings (which is faster). Since I don't quite well remember where all that was left in the code, I'd describe two types of algorithms below. Let me know if what you're looking for is different. 1) If what you're looking for is "which tourney parts have been processed ?", you could loop through available masks (1, 2, 4, 8, 16) and do a bitwise AND between the variable value and the mask and compare it to the mask ( (variable & 2) == 2 ?). 2) If what you're looking for is to fill information about a tourney as summary files arrive, you'd have to 2.a) Identify in the summary file which tourney summary part it is 2.b) Check if that file has already been processed for that tourney (bitwise AND between what's already in DB and the bitwise mask associated with your tourney summary file : 1,2,4,8,16). 2.c) If yes, not sure what to do, probably nothing 2.d) If not, update what has to be updated (amount won, ...) and also update matrixIdProcessed to something like matrixIdProcessed | <bitwise mask associated with tourney summary file>. Hope all this helps. Let me know. Hi, I've managed to set fpdb to record my hands for 888 Poker (Pacific Poker) but the hud isn't showing when I enter a table. In the separate hud window, it isn't displaying the table that I'm on so I assume that it can't find it. Are there any further configurations that I need to make to let it recognise the table? Many thanks Robert Gossington10 Craigavon RoadHemel HempsteadHertfordshireHP2 6AZMobile: 07709 761 672 |
