[Foxgui-users]switching fox to the signal/slot mechnism from gtkmm

Hi,

I've read all pros and contras for using or not using some mechanism
in fox library, but I still feel better writing something like:

quit_button.clicked.connect (slot (FXApp::quit::slot ()));

As I'm not experienced GUI programmer I would like to ask for some
help and more elaborate pros and contras of adding signal/slot
mechnism to FOX (I guess I'm not the first person asking this, but I
can't find pointers to previous discussions). In Jeroen opinion, would
it be dificult?

I hope you'll not try to linch me for my heretic ideas and have
patience with me.
