Regarding offering users two versions of the software to choose from, our listings currently support a single download button, so we’re not able to provide two separate download buttons for different versions.
We also noticed that the current release is being flagged by multiple security vendors as potentially malicious. Please review the release and publish a clean, verified version. If the issue is not addressed, we may need to remove the project from our open-source listing to protect users.
Sincerely,
SourceForge Support

We agree that your new build meets our requirements, so you can go ahead and upload it.
For your other version of the software, you can always create a new project for it. Alternatively, if you’d prefer to keep everything in the same project, you can add a README to your Files tab and include custom links in your menu. This could help users easily choose between the different versions.

SourceForge Support
