My password needs resetting - the SF.net account password I use still logs me into SourceForge but not this mailing list's admin interface.

    Hello,

There has always been a separate password for the mailing list.

Please contact the project administrator to obtain the correct password, or they can update the previous password here: https://sourceforge.net/p/tcl/admin/mailman/

    Sincerely,

    SourceForge Support

Perhaps you didn't understand me. I do not remember my password to access this link: https://sourceforge.net/p/tcl/admin/mailman/. So, your advice is not helpful. Can you trigger a password for the Mailman admin inferface, or am I locked out forever?

    Hello,

    I understand the issue.

But it looks like your current account has a Developer role rather than an Administrator role, which is why I recommended reaching out to one of the project administrators.

The link I provided is part of the administrative tools available for managing mailing list passwords. However, access to that area is limited to administrators.

Please reach out to a project administrator so they can access the area and help you with this.

    Sincerely,

    SourceForge Support

So even though the admin site says: Tcl-mac list run by das at users.sourceforge.net, wordtech at users.sourceforge.net (I am wordtech), I am not an admin?

    Hello,

The project owner has complete control over the mailing list, passwords, and project membership.

It sounds like there may have been a misunderstanding between you and the project owner regarding your role and responsibilities within the project. These areas are managed entirely by the project owner and are outside of our involvement or control.

You can also review the project members list here: https://sourceforge.net/p/tcl/_members/.
It lists all current members along with their respective roles, and your name appears at the bottom of the list.

Note: If you happen to have a separate user account that has administrator access to the project, you would need to log in using that account to access the associated admin functions.

    Sincerely,

    SourceForge Support

    Hello,

Just talked with the team and if you aren't able to get in touch with a project admin, let us know and we have another option available.

    Sincerely,

    SourceForge Support
