Hello,
I am the owner of the bitra-archive project (https://sourceforge.net/projects/bitra-archive/).
All .zip, .7z, and .img firmware files inside the project folders have suddenly disappeared, leaving only the folder structure and README.md files. I have not deleted them, and there are no entries in the Audit Trail or emails regarding this.
These files are Android custom ROMs, kernels, and partition images for community testing. It appears the uploaded binaries triggered an automated false-positive security flag.
Could you please manually inspect and restore the visibility of the files?
Thank you!

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us.

We investigated your report, and the files were not removed due to an automated security detection or false-positive scan.

Your project, which was created on April 2, 2026, had grown to over 400 GB of stored data. While Android ROM development is a valid use of the platform, our service is intended to developers to host and showcase their software development projects rather than function as a large-scale storage or file distribution service.

We contacted you on June 11 and again on June 25, requesting that the project's storage usage be reduced and advising that, if no action was taken, we would remove files to bring the project back within reasonable limits.

As we did not receive a response or see any reduction in storage usage following those notifications, the files were removed in accordance with those prior notices.

    Sincerely,

    SourceForge Support

Thank you for the detailed clarification and explanation regarding the storage limits. I completely understand your policy and the platform's intended scope for hosting development projects.
Thank you for your assistance and for providing hosting for the project during this time. I will be closing / leaving the project on SourceForge and moving the archive elsewhere.
    Sincerely,
    spitfirert
