This appears to be a recurrence of #26051.
Our push script started failing erratically a few days ago and last night it failed 6 times and the previous night it also failed 6 times.
Output from our driver script:
|Pushing to ssh:$FSROOT/keni@git.code.sf.net/p/nethack/NetHack
|Received disconnect from 216.105.38.16 port 22:2: Too many authentication failures\x0d
|Disconnected from 216.105.38.16 port 22\x0d
|fatal: Could not read from remote repository.
Thanks!
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us.
Is this still an issue?
Sincerely,
SourceForge Support
Yes, but it's getting better - last night it only failed 3 times: 11:40, 12:40, 1:40 (EDT).
Thank you.

We appreciate it.

No failures last night. This script runs every hour - why have I only seen failures at night?
Hello,
That's a fair question. Since the script runs every hour and there were no failures last night, it's difficult to draw a conclusion from the timing alone. At this point, the issue does not appear to be recurring.
If you're comfortable with that, we can close the ticket. Otherwise, we're happy to leave it open a bit longer in case you see any additional failures and want to report back.
Sincerely,
SourceForge Support
We can certainly close this one and I'll open a new one if it starts happening again. I've been ignoring short outages since "things happen"; would you prefer I open a ticket after fewer failures?
Thanks for your help.
