How do I allow force pushes in my git repositories? I used to do Running "sf-help --scm" in the shell will show you your repo paths.

  1. ssh -t dartme,partwriter@shell.sourceforge.net create;
  2. Inside that SSH session, cd /home/git/p/partwriter/gitrepo.git/
  3. vim config;
  4. Change to denyNonFastforwards = false

It looks like the interactive shell is going away soon for my safety, so how should I do this in the future?

    I should point out that I've tried using SFTP to get to the git repository configuration to no avail:

    sftp dartme@frs.sourceforge.net;
    find /home;

    And I've tried at web.sourceforge.net with identical results as far as I can tell.

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    Opening a support ticket is definitely the right way to handle this, and we’ll take care of it from our side.

    We’ve already enabled it for partwriter/gitrepo. If there are any other repos you’d like enabled as well, just let us know and we’ll get those added too.

    Sincerely,

    SourceForge Support
