It seem I missed to note that you are no longer hosting project websites, which is a shame. Actually the website for JPasswords is still active but I cannot obtain access to it via SFTP client. Can you continue to give me access to it or otherwise send me a parcel with the contents. Thank you!

here you can find the documentation about sftp: [documentation:SFTP], even if it needs to be updated.

I was unable to duplicate your reported issue. I have a test account that is used for documentation and testing:

I added this account to your project and had no issue connecting to your project with the following commands:
ssh -t username,jpws@shell.sourceforge.net create
Password: %SF.net-Password%
cd /home/project-web/jpws/htdocs
ls

construction.html jpws-guestbook.html rmgformats.css

I didn't want to change anything or add anything to your project to ensure that your project was no changed in any way. I could have added the simple html file here with the following command for example:
sftp username@web.sourceforge.net
Password: (Enter Your SF.net Password)
Connected to web.sourceforge.net.
sftp> cd /home/project-web/jpws/htdocs
sftp> put /Local-Path-To/index.html

There hasn't been any changes that would affect your access to your own projects web area and we still offer free web hosting services. I would suggest trying again. I have since removed my test account from your project.

The problem is solved. I came to the view that you don't host websites any more because I could not find any reference to this in your documentation pages. Also, when opening a new project, I don't think people become aware of this opportunity. So it counts as a secret knowledge for now.

The page about the project web pages is this one [documentation:Project Web and Developer Web] and you can find it in the table of contents (complete documentation) here [documentation:ToC]. As you can read, at the moment that page has been identified as still needing improvement.
A reason to justify his absence in the documentation home here [documentation:Docs Home] could be to let the user to focus on the main features of this webiste: uploading files (file manager), managing support requests (tickets), managing documentation (wiki) and so on. Anyway this information can be moved to the main page next time the documentation will be updated.
