WavePacket is a program package for the numerical simulation of quantum-mechanical systems.
For the C++-version, I am currently looking for additional developers.
Looking over the list of TODO's, there are essentially two types of "positions":
Help with the development of the mathematical core of the library.
Quantum mechanics is not a deep mystery and I do not mind a slow start with lots of explanations. However, I strongly recommend a reasonable mathematical background in functional analysis for a serious contribution. As a rough guide, you should already know or be able to understand the basic idea of pseudo-spectral representations.
Help with various cleanups, utility functions etc. of the library.
There is a lot of less mathematics-heavy work to be done to improve the library, maybe best illustrated by a few examples:
I'd be interested in helping out. I graduated with a B.S. in physics having done some work in quantum optics, but that was about 3 years ago so I'd say I'm rusty. Just let me know what you think I can help out with.

These tickets could also be done on a ticket-by-ticket basis if you only want to look into the project a bit.
Further information about the project can be found on the wiki and in the Readme file that comes with the downloaded sources.
If you are interested, just contact my over my sourceforge address or post a comment here.

Hi Ulf,
Hope you are doing great.
I have just saw your post and would find myself as a best suit for this role. Please contact me on Skype so that we can discuss further.

Hi Ulf,
I'd be interested in helping out. I graduated with a B.S. in physics having done some work in quantum optics, but that was about 3 years ago so I'd say I'm rusty. Just let me know what you think I can help out with.
I am certainly interested, especially since you match the target group (C++ beginner) :).
More per PM.
