WavePacket is a program to solve the time-dependent and time-independent Schroedinger equation using standard numerical (grid) methods. There currently exists a stable Matlab version that is reasonably widely used, which is programmed in a procedural way.
Since the Matlab version has some principal limitations, I am currently rewriting it in C++ using modern programming techniques (object-orientation, clean design, test-driven development). For this rewrite, I am looking for developers to help shoulder some of the work.
You should have sufficient coding skills to be able to work in C++, and know the basics about solving partial differential equations (if you have basic familiarity with Hilbert spaces, that would be about the theory level required most of the time).

If you are interested or have questions, feel free to post.
Very interested in your project.
I have a BSc in computer science and a MSc in quantum physics. Previous C++ experience in several startups; familiar with Matlab.
I also have a great deal of spare time for the next months.
I am interested. I have a lot of experience in C++ and a PhD in FOurier Analysis
I would be interested as well, I am just finishing a master's in applied math (numerical methods, functional analysis, FEM, that sort of thing). I have over 10 years of professional C++ experience.
Hi I am Interested. i have completed my masters in networks, and have a good coding skills in c, perl, python
Shit. I aplogize for not having replied to any posting. Somehow the automatic noticing did not work, and since there is an automatic notice, I never bothered to look into the post.
I would contact you all over the next few days.
I am also interested. i have some time to spare.
Will you still welcome C++ developers to join the open-source team ? Thanks. firstname.lastname@example.org
Would you like to add some more members to work on this project?
Please let me know if more developers are needed.
