#925 .io doesn't work on user personal domains?

Sourceforge has moved to .io for https domains across projects. But, oddly, on personal domains, .io is not supported.
https://lloydwood.users.sourceforge.net/ works as you'd expect, but if you try lloydwood.users.sourceforge,io...

This site can’t provide a secure connection
lloydwood.users.sourceforge.io uses an unsupported protocol.
ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH
Unsupported protocol
The client and server don't support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite.

So, the .io subdomain mapping exists for this, but the SSL ciphers are not set up?

This seems like an inconsistency in behaviour, and worth noting. thanks.
