I have exactly the same problem. If adding editing option is not possible then, at least, add preview so one could see, beforehand, how their ticket is going to look like and correct it accordingly.
I would even go as far, as to make preview step 'obligatory', kind of like in wikipedia, so after pressing create user would see the preview and had to confirm that it is what they want to publish.

@tansy, that's worth another ticket. Especially because, like at
https://sourceforge.net/p/opencamera/tickets/1299/#c718, the CommonMark parser is inadequate.Last edit: Mr. Beedell, Roke Julian Lockhart (RJLB) 2025-11-01

This ticket is to edit/modify and to move in another section (example "Site Support" and "Feature requests" in this project).
It is for "Tickets" and "Discussion" tabs, a project admin can edit or delete a ticket:
-> I think, it will be perfect to harmonize these menus.
Answer in "Tickets" and "Discussion" is same but it is different for "User" and "Admin":
Yes, it is linked to 860 ticket :)

Thanks in advance.
