Hi,
On 01/25/16 I received the following email notification for this post made by user nospam
:
Good start will give it a try when I get a few free moments!
If you look at the post today, you'll see it has a substantial amount of new content by user nospam
("Hi Todd, I am using your cidtest.sh script on a remote raspi...") and I had no idea that the changes had been made. At the bottom of the post it says, "Last edit: nospam 54 minutes ago", meaning 54 minutes ago as of this time I'm submitting this ticket. Yet, I have never received an email notification, which leaves the impression there has been no change to the post between 01/25/16 and today. The only reason I found out about the changes is because I did get a notification this morning for the new post by the user.
HERE IS MY FEATURE REQUEST: I would like to be able to receive notifications whenever there is an edit, no matter how small, because there's the possibility that an edit to a post is a substantial amount, like the example I'm providing above.
Could you implement one or both of the following:
1) Send an email notification that says something like, "User nospam
has edited the post at <link>." This notification would not indicate what the changes are, just that it had been changed. I would rather receive multiple notifications of edits than none at all.
2) Show details of the edits made, in a similar way to Wiki page change notifications? It shows old/new lines when I get email notifications.
