#492 Feature Request: Follow Count

I would like to request a way to see how many people are following my project. I am sure others would also. Download stats are not accuurate as one person could download a file multiple times as each new version is released. A Follow count would tell me how many people are interested in my project and want to keep informed about it. I have a mailing list but people do not seem to sign up even though I have "advertised" it.
