I am trying to build a Legacy Project for some
Japanese files, and I get the message:

"The action cannot be completed because the other
application is busy. Choose 'Switch To' to activate
the busy application and correct the problem."

Hitting the Switch To... button does nothing to
correct the problem. Whenever I click on the
application UI, I again get the message above.

I am unable to kill the application gracefully and
have had to reboot my NT just to get it to close so I
can start anew.

Any ideas?

Would it be possible for you to registery the ForeignDesk
type library.

From the command line navigate to the .\ForeignDesk\TLBs
directory and run
regtlb ForeignDesk.tlb

I'm not 100% sure of what is going on, but it may be that
FDPA is unable to make COM calls to the main
ForeignDesk.exe.

What version of NT are you running?
