#949 Give a more convincing message when monitoring is active and user tries to perform download

When user forgot to switch off monitoring before performing a download to forte, a message box "Major download error" (see attachment) appears.

Possible improvement
Perhaps IDE could be improved to give a more convincing message box with a hint (e.g. "Ensure monitoring is switched off")
