The problem here is that we are relying on the Eclipse Infrastructure for managing systems, and as stated in the delete dialog if you are checking the erase from disc option there is no possibility for undoing. However if you just delete the system without deleting it from disc you can easily re-import the project just as any other external project. Therefore I rejected this request.
