several nullpointer exceptions are thrown when right-clicking onto FB-port and the corresponding fb instance is not mapped to a resource.
patch will be enclosed, containing null pointer-checks

    thanks for the patch. as this is something that is also of concern for the stable version could you please relocate your branch to the 1.2.x branch.
