It would be really nice to see the lines and spots on
the table if the game type is snooker.
There is a schema and description of a snooker table on
this link: http://www.billiardworld.com/snooker.html
Hope it helps

thx

I'll leave this is an open To-Do. I'm working on other stuff
right now, but anyway this is best directed to Florian. A
patch, of course, is ideal :)

I made a patch for drawing the spots and lines on the
snooker table. I'm not familiar with opengl so treat it that
way:) I dont know why the lines are black ...
I also added strafe function in freeview mode bind to ','
    and '.' keys.
And a small fix in ball.c to compile with --enable-nvidia=no
on my system, donno if it's right.
All the patches are for the linux version 3.0a of foobillard.

Thanks, I'll take a look at it, but since you have written
it for the Linux version, it would be better to submit the
changes to the principal developer, Florian, at
http://foobillard.sunsite.dk/. The main platform is Linux
and Florian maintains the codebase. I only maintain ports
here; specifically the Win32 port and I don't think Florian
has a forum for FooBillard, so try e-mailing him. When
Florian updates, then I can update the port here. In the
meantime, I'll take a look at it and see if it works on my
    setup. Thanks.

Sorry for interfering, but could you also bind strafe
function to mouse keys, and precisely -mouse moving and
button2 after button1(same as adjust effect in aim mode)-?
...and Foobillard is the best pool game i've played.

It would also be nice to have increased lighting on the bigger tables. Is there any options in game to alter the mouse sensitivity?

Speaking as the Win32 porter, well, I'm dreadfully sorry for not updating it since 2004, but I do a lot of work on LuaForge these days and so far I have failed to find the time to seriously work on the FooBillard port. I had intended to track the official version but that seems to be on hiatus. Maintaining or updating FooBillard would be non-trivial; I don't want to do a half-cocked job of it. As it is, I don't even have full access to this SF project. If anyone wants to take this up, you're very much welcome. It might be hard to contact Florian, though, I presume he is busy with other things.
