This is not a flame war. I already answered this partially -- yes, it
can in the dialogs, and I couldn't find that this was supported in
scripting. Often the docs are incomplete, however, and I could search
the source code; and what is not supported can be added.

Then Dave advised that -- on technical grounds, not ideological ones
-- it was a bad idea to turn on those bits, and I think it also is a
bad idea.
