I had the same issue. Here is the solution.
Foldersize installs here: C:\Program Files (x86)\FolderSize
Go to that location and right click on the FolderSize.exe file and choose 'Create shortcut'.
Create the shortcut on the desktop.
Now you can just click that desktop shortcut to re-launch it anytime you need to use it.
You can move the shortcut wherever you like too. It doesn't need to live on the desktop.

Just re-read your initial problem. Maybe you just need to open a new Explorer instance, I had actually killed mine in taskmanager not just closed the window.

I installed it and saw the folder sizes in another window, then I closed and now I don't know where it is. How to turn this on and off?
