Hello,

trying to install latest Visio_Stencils_v2.2.0_Beta98 on Vista x64 with Visio 2007 results in "Assertion failed! Line 389, Expression: addingPortSuccessful".

I just tested with an older stencils Beta91 on my system, I get the same assertion error.
Visio 2007 itself works fine, SP1 and latest updates are applied.
Vista is Business x64 with SP1 and latest updates.
So this issue seems not to be shortly introduced and might be related to my system?

I just tried installation of Beta98 on two fresh vista installations
a) vista business x86 (+sp1, visio 2007 + sp1) => stencils install OK
b) vista business x64 (+sp1, visio 2007 + sp1) => same assertion error
==> I am pretty sure this is x64 related!

I guess it is related to 64bit system as the drivers (got them from Win XP 32bit) are certainly not compatible with 64bit.

When I can have my hands on a 64bit installation I can dig deeper into it.

The same on Windows 7. It is a 64bit problem. And not fixed since more than 1.5 years. Project dead?
