#1135 Can't connect to Motorola L-series

Setup: Motorola L-series (aka Timeport) with IR. (= COM4)
FMA's Wizard never detects the phone and doesn't appear to even try.

Connectivity->Helper->Lookup at least tries to detect the phone (there is activity on the IR link) and, while it mostly says device is not found, occasionally says "Device: 960".

It's hard to know if this means that the L-series (an ordinary old ircomm phone) won't work with FMA, or whether FMA's wizard is just faulty.
