I believe the issue the poster is talking about is that
alt-right-dragging an Eterm window will give the impression
that you're resizing in two dimensions, but when you release
the mouse button it is actually only resized vertically. This is
probably an Eterm issue IMO, although I would like to see it
resolved.

I have noticed this as well, and it would be great to see it
resolved.
The issue *IS* with Eterm started without borders (eterm
-x), and even if you toggle borders (with the
'ToggleDecor'), you cannot resize the window horizontally.
I have not encountered this issue before with any other WM,
and it has occured in both 0.1.9 and 0.1.10 (I am new to
fluxbox, so thats all I have ran). It did not occur with BB
0.61.1 or BB 0.62.1pre0.
Eterm 0.9.1
More details available on request, but it seems easy enough
to reproduce.
