Hi Fernando, 

Just to echo what some other people already said, this sounds good to me, especially since Rembrant is unmaintained for a long time.

What’s your timescale to merge this to next? I’m asking because I am planning to propose that we make the next FG release a ‘very stable one’ (getting people more involved in testing, ensuring all assets are in sync etc). 

If we merge your changes to next in say the next month (during June, ideally), are you happy that we can have ALS, Rembrandt-or-equivalent working well enough for a release in September (ish… maybe it becomes October, but certainly out before FSWeekend at the beginning of November)
