What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.fly any aircraft and use the Chase view
2. Just look! ;-)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: the viewer turns together with the aicraft
Instead: the aircraft turns without the viewer- like Chase view with jaw

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
FGFS 2.0.0 all OS

A change in preferences.xml works quite good as work around (damping set to zero)

It seems as if the FGViewer lookAt damping code broke between 1.9.1 and 2.0.0 - I'm looking at the diffs to
    confirm or refute that hypothesis.
