As discussed once either PFD or MFD are activated from debug it correctly shows flight data (IDG PA28). Then if you close either panel on re-opening whilst the data remains neither are active except comms and nav radios even if it is the same flight. Also the Nav radios are back to front assuming active radio should be in the blue box, the active Nav should be on the left.
Hi Robert,
Thanks for the bug report. I've just pushed an initial fix for this.
I've also double-checked the Nav and Com radio positions against the G1000 manual. The blue box is the inactive radio, which is the one that you can edit. So I think that is correct.

I will take a look now. I only mentioned the Nav Radio because most radio
stacks to standby is the right hand frequency.
Thanks

#2200Will any fix only activate when I exit and reload the sim as I just checked
and it's the same.

#2200Hi Robert,
I should have been clearer - the fix is in the codebase, so unless you're
running what we call "next" and update fgdata from git, you won't see the
fix until the 2020.1 release is made. If those terms don't mean anything
to you, then don't worry about it, and just wait until the 2020.1 release
which we'll be making in the next month or so :)
If you're in a hurry and, know your way around XML and editing text, you
can try to fix it yourself - here's a link to the change I made to fix it:
https://sourceforge.net/p/flightgear/fgdata/ci/7605fee09fe92ac9481ddcc490f464e44288b405/
However, only attempt this if you're confident, and be aware that getting
it wrong will probably break the GUI and require you to re-install
flightgear. On a more positive note, messing around with the internals of
flightgear is one of the great things about the simulator :)

#2200Thanks for the update. I think I will wait. Whilst I have changed code but
in those cases I was told exactly where to put it.
