Embed Html
Summary: Allow HTML to be embedded in content.
SubmittedBy: JoeFrayne
Description
Q: Is there any way to add straight html to a page? --
JoeFrayne
A: Not right now. -- CraigAndera
Statement: This would be nice as an optional feature.
Allows for advanced editing of pages. I would also be
nice to have some filters on it too in order to filter out
<script> tags for example. -- ShawnR
Q: Is this intentionally prevented? Is there a discussion
on this topic? -- JoeFrayne
A: See HtmlSyntaxAllowedDiscussion -- CraigAndera
Discussion
This seems a veritable PandorasBox for WikiWikiWebs.
Please carefully consider the consquences of this
request and how they enhance and detract from the
wiki concept.

these points from the discussion
* Objects. See, stuff like videos and other things that
should appear in the page are simply not doable right now.
When working on pages that contain information that can not
be shown as simple image in the best way, a Wiki totally
fails right now.
* Borders. We would like to embedd some advertising in a
Wiki of ours - basically using a banner exchange to drive
more traffic to our site. Sadly, banners are Html, and right
now we talk of writing a small C# dll JUST to show some
static HTML.
