FYI we looked into this for RainbowPortal - they're totally cool
about you using the code - need to sign an agreement but as
long as you do not modify then you can integrate/embed to
your heart's content.
Reality however is a different story - if you want to actually
splice items then that requires extensibility of FlexWiki - that
is another kettle of fish.
I'd like to see FlexWiki use the resources behind it to move
itself mainstream and be a key feature of SharePoint and
other major CMS and cut its current license in favour of GPL.
