I think if it's a database you are working with, you need to take a different approach. You would probably need to read each record with whatever technology you are using for DB access, then scan each field as a text buffer with Flex, then write it out by updating the fields again with whatever technology you are using. =20 If you try scanning the database as a 'text file' (Flex's native) you are going to have a mess on your hands. =20 =3D=3D John =3D=3D =20 =20 ________________________________ From: fle...@li...
