I'm using 1.02 and I've got question marks.
What's the fix?

    I do believe I fixed it through trial and error.
    In line 70, remove " " (quotes added by me).
    New posts are fine but old posts require quick editing.
    To remove question marks from existing comments, enter
    into admin mode, click <edit this post>, click <save
    changes>.

    It worked for me. Doesn't look like anything else broke
    due to that, but I will update if I find that's not the
    case.

    Yes, I do believe this is the problem as well, though I have
    no clue as to why a non-breaking space displays as a
    question mark in UTF-8.

    I have not yet released a real fix for this, as I have not
    decided on how to deal with old posts already in the DB.
    Probably will just remove non-breaking spaces in display or
    some such...
