I had a quick look for this bug but can't seem to reproduce the error... can you provide a copy of the image you're trying to insert along with details about what OS and software version you're using.

I have the same problem. These are usual images in bmp, png or pbm format created with IrfanView for example.

Okay I tried every format except from xbm, so none of them works. So it seems there is something generally wrong with loading of images. Well, it is version 0.15.0 of FlashQard. (Sorry for triple post, unfortunately no edit funtion for comments.)

Hello everyone, I had the same problem, and I really love this application, so I tried to fix it here is the result
