Thanks for the replies, the pdf looks helpful, I'll compare it with the FS-USB Manual schematic, and I'll check that pointer, Mike.  (Is that just a bypass cap on the Vusb pin or is something more sinister going on?  Will any old signal-diode do in there, or does it need current capability?)


The input fron the PC isn't the issue.  What I'm looking for is how to get data-rate out of the PIC that I want to use for a concentrator. Is the FF USB throtled on output like that, too?
