[Flashforth-devel] Porting FF-3.8 to pic16 XLP Cores, anyone?

Has anyone given any thought to the downsizing problem?  I've done a couple of projects on the 16F1825 &1829 chips now and the XLP extensions look like it might finally be possible (although probably not pretty).  There are now 2 FSR-s and have larger addressing, the ram has a flattened access mode, and there's FINALLY access to the stack.  The bank-switching for sfr access could be annoying, but looks like if rolled together could be easier to write for than my usual assembler banging.

I'm poking at it as an amusing curiosity (although it could be a nice quick-turnaround tool) and wonder if anyone else sees potential.
