Sorry my answer was too fast. 
 Brain was not fully functional yet.   :-( :-( 

On other forths  one needs to use . to see the number on top of the stack. 

On flashforth  "prompt" is by default ".st"  and prints the top of the stack. 

If you do ".st"  what do you see? 

	
Try "` .st is prompt" to restore the normal behavior of flashforth.
