Mikael,
    I've been using ff-shell.tcl a quite bit lately and have made a 
small adjustment to improve the display when the microcontroller is 
sending back a lot of text without any new-line characters.  The older 
version would not update to display the end of the text widget until a 
new-line was received.  Now the update occurs every so many characters 
or on receipt of a new-line character.  Revised program is attached.
