[Flashforth-devel] Atmega32A

Hi Mikael,


As Atmega32A is easy to find here I wonder if it is possible to assemble 
FF for this target by just
editing  config.inc, we already have Atmega644P there which is pretty 
much the same with 32KB less
flash space, or it needs extra work to adapt FF for Atmega32A?

I think it should work with the 32A, but...

There are some changes needed due to the different register names for 
the UARTs and the SPMCR register.

Try to compile it and you will see.

You will also need to give 0x80 bytes more space to the kernel. Like this:

.equ OFLASH = 0x8000 ; 32 Kbytes available for FlashForth
.equ PFLASH = OFLASH
.equ RAMPZV = 0

The latest version of FF in git tries to support the 32A.

As I do not have that chip I wonder if you could test it?
