Two input devices are created that do not produce any data. According to the source, the ACPI device thats responsible for the buttons on my laptop is FUJ02BF, the other two devices are not mentioned in the source. I suspect from their name they relate to the extension port.
I do not use the deamons, but simply create keyboard shortcuts to my own script for screen rotation.

since I upgraded to v2.3, the kernel driver no longer works as before. It loads and I get the following output on dmesg:
