One can always tell when emacs users are around :) I type this message
in vim.

I've wanted to learn the emacs style line editing commands, but to no
success. I just use vim too much. I would help improve the fish vi line
editing commands if I could, but I don't know much C and certainly not
enough to dig into a big project like fish. (For instance, moving from
insert to command mode does not work exactly as expected in fish.) But
an emacs user would not notice this :)
