Yes, the intent is to change from varargs to stdargs sometime, but the production version of V5 will not have that change - it will probably happen in 2005, but I don't know exactly when. Meanwhile, you can compile with gcc on Linux distributions that have support for varargs, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 (or its White Box Linux clone), Mandrake 9.2, etc. Thank you for your interest in GT.M.
