This is probably an old question, but what linux distributions has GTM been tested on?
I note there are configuration issues with RedHat 7 vs RedHat 8, but is there a list (comprehensive or not) of known distros where it has been gotten to work (and any tweaks needed to do it)?
Just wondering.

Red Hat is what GT.M is developed with and is the officially supported distribution. RH 7.x through 9 are supported, as is RHEL 2.1. Although not formally supported, GT.M is known to run on contemporary releases of Debian GNU/Linux, SuSE (as Martin Lehr has noted), and Mandrake but your mileage may vary as they are not formally tested. Considering the number of users in Brazil, I would not be surprised to hear that GT.M runs on Connectiva. There have also been reports of success with Slackware.
We are not aware of any reason why GT.M would not run on any contemporary release of any major x86 Linux distribution -- the only dependencies are a kernel with large file size (>2GB) support, and somewhat contemporary versions of glibc and libncurses.
GT.M users, please do report experiences with various Linux distributions here. Please note Linux distribution, version, and GT.M version.
For anyone who wishes to purchase GT.M support from Sanchez, for an appropriate volume of business, we will gladly consider supporting your preferred Linux distribution.

Although also not officially supported, GT.M also runs on Knoppix (http://knopper.net/knoppix/index-old-en.html). Versions 3.2 and 3.3 were used successfully to install and run VistA on GT.M on several computers at the Sacramento, CA and Norcross, GA VistA Community Meetings (http://worldvista.org/mtgs/index.html).
