I'm running Mandrake 9.0. Under MCC > System > Services, Firestarter is=20 shown as running and "start on boot" is checked. Therefore, my assumptio= n=20 is that I really don't need to have the GUI up and running unless I want = to=20 check the hit list, correct? In regards to the test at grc.com, running=20 the test on common ports, '80' shows open, but I've discovered thats due = to=20 the way my DSL modem is configured or at least thats what I've been told=20 before on this list. Ports 21 and 23 will sometimes show open and=20 sometimes closed. All others show closed. Where would changes be made t= o=20 stealth these ports? I set them as stealth when I ran the wizard but=20 apparently it didn't work correctly.
