Dear all, I installed firestarter on CentOS 4.3 and configured it accordinly to do some port forwarding an allow few Lan clients for full access and other Lan clients for specific services etc. i also configured the firewall to allow the VPN traffic according to the manual. Now the problem is that I see a host which is using a FTP service which is forwarded to one of my intyernal server and the same host is using an UNKNOWN service on port number 3161. According to the configurations I have made this port is not allowed and since by default the firestarter disallow/ block all ports on incoming interface untill it is explicitly allowed. I want to block this port (3161), so that nobody can connect to the firewall on this port..Please tellme about the service on this port and its use and also the way I can block this port on firestarter.
