Dear developers, dear Group I've got a problem, which I was not able to solve, even contacting the IRC people on #fedora or reading the available FAQ's and NG's. The machine: AMD 3200, Fedora Core 3, all updated. HomeNetwork: 1 Windows Client (XP Pro) eth1 and 1 Network Card eth0 which is connected to DSL Modem (T-Online) Error: After Boot or Reboot, Firestarter is running as service, DSL is up, Internet access is ok on Fedora machine. The Windows client has no access to the Internet at this point. If I call up the GUI (I give Admin rights when asked) OR I restart the service OR I restart ppp0 (T-Online account) everything works on both clients. I think I checked everything possible (i know of..) mentioned in the FAQ's or NG or IRC and I am definetly out of ideas now. I hope you can help me here. BTW, I believe that firestarter worked as it should on an earlier installation I had and I didn't change anything (except Partition sizes) on the second installation. Oliver (ICQ 1413816) |
