Firebird Odbc 1.2. 69 Firebird 1.5 Borland admin 1.05 (i think) Crystal Reports XI Citrix Presentation Server 4 I created a report that uses a customer parameter on a workstation that had Crystal Reports XI, Firebird 1.5 & Firebird ODBC v 1.2. Parameter worked fine and report works well. Transferred report to citrix server and parameter does not work. I can see all the tables/fields and browse data, but when creating a parameter field the following occurs: if creating a static parameter, I cannot download list of values using "append all values" like I can on the standalone workstation, it just completes with a blank row. if dynamic, I get the following error: Prompting failed with the following error message: 'List of Values failure: fail to get values. [Cause of error: The system cannot find the path specified.]' Error source: prompt.dll Error Code: 0x8004380D >From what I have found on various sites, this error could be: - firewall related - is there a port I need to open? - dll related - do I need to copy dll files somwhere? - temp file related - i have logged on as a user with adminstrative privileges and experienced same issue so I have ruled this out 60%. -something in crystal reports is hardcoded to look at c drive and citrx ica looks at M for system files and N for app. I don't get why I can see the tables/fields but can't download/append list values into parameter. Crystal Reports is installed on 2 citrix servers and points towards the fdb database on another backend server- all are win2003. The hard drives of the citrix servers are partitioned in two - m drive for system partition and n for data. thanks. |
